Do I get credit card rewards on BookMyShow if I pay by UPI?
Not always. On BookMyShow, Axis Neo, Cashback+ Kotak, PhonePe SBI Black and Eterna BOBCARD earn less, or nothing, when you pay through UPI (including a RuPay credit card on UPI). To get the full reward, pay with the card itself in the BookMyShow checkout.
- Axis Neo: Movie tickets only; instant discount at payment; earns nothing when paid through UPI. Axis's offer document ran to 31 October 2026 and Paisabazaar still listed the offer on 30 October; check it shows at payment
- Cashback+ Kotak: Earns less when paid through UPI; Online movie tickets only; shares the ₹750 limit each statement with food and grocery, then nothing; RuPay card paid by UPI earns 0.5%
- PhonePe SBI Black: Earns nothing when paid through UPI; When paid online or in the app by card; UPI payments outside the PhonePe app earn nothing; at most 1,000 points (₹1,000) a month
- Eterna BOBCARD: Earns less when paid through UPI; 5X (15 points per ₹100) on online payments, up to 5,000 points a statement cycle; not on UPI
