Do I get credit card rewards on Amazon if I pay by UPI?
Not always. On Amazon, PhonePe SBI Black, PhonePe Ultimo and Eterna BOBCARD earn less, or nothing, when you pay through UPI (including a RuPay credit card on UPI). To get the full reward, pay with the card itself in the Amazon checkout.
- PhonePe SBI Black: Earns nothing when paid through UPI; When paid online or in the app by card; UPI payments outside the PhonePe app earn nothing; at most 1,000 points (₹1,000) a month
- PhonePe Ultimo: By card or by UPI; not on gift cards, wallet top-ups or EMI; grocery orders (Fresh, Minutes, Instamart) may earn nothing
- Eterna BOBCARD: Earns less when paid through UPI; 5X (15 points per ₹100) on online payments, up to 5,000 points a statement cycle; not on UPI
